Large State investment in Dundalk IT announced

Dundalk IT is set for an €18.5 million State investment according to Fine Gael TD, Fergus O'Dowd.

The investment is part of an €11.9 billion investment in education as part of the government's Project Ireland 2040.

In an tweet this morning, Deputy O'Dowd said that the DkIT investment will allow for upgrade and expansion of up to 760 additional student places.

The focus of the investment in DKIT will be in the North and South Blocks which house the Institute’s STEM facilities.
