The M1 northbound is closed at J10 Drogheda North this morning as Gardai deal with an overnight collision.
It is understood a serious collision between a BMW and Suzuki Vitara took place at around 1.10am.
The two female drivers of the vehicles were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for treatment.
It is understood one of the vehicles was travelling in the wrong direction when the crash occurred.
