Gardai are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary which took place in Bay Estate on Monday morning (February 26th).
LMFM reports that a 21-year-old man was left "badly shaken" after he was confronted by a man wearing a balaclava when he answered his door in the Hazelwood area of Bay Estate on Monday evening at
The masked man grabbed the 21-year-old "violently by the throat" and demanded money.
A second man reportedly stood in the hallway during the incident.
LMFM reports that the two men left the scene in a dark
The reports came after a social media post by local man Gavin Connor alerted people in Dundalk to a suspicious group who were calling around doors in Bay Estate.
