Conditions are very bad on the roads this morning

Matthew's Bus has cancelled  all of their routes today and say that "services on all routes" will be "suspended until further notice".

A notice on Matthew's website can be seen below:

Meanwhile, a video on the New Traffic Watch Louth And Monaghan And Speed Vans group showed heavy snow covering the M50.

A motorist also alerted the Facebook group that a lorry had become stuck on a hill at the J4 exit of m50 lorry stuck on hill and that there would be tailbacks as a result.

On Twitter a road user tweeted regarding conditions on the m50: "Sensible thing to do, some people waiting till they're stuck in it before checking Twitter, there has been tweeting for last few hours to avoid m50. Braindead."

For those commuting by train, Ianroid Eireann say  "All services are currently operating on all routes except Cork/Cobh."

Bus Eireann updated customers this morning saying that there is "Major disruption to all services in East due to hazardous driving conditions"

The following Bus Eireann services in the East are not operating due to the weather.
