A 46 year old man who breached a barring order by watching his ex through a window at her home “putting her in fear”, was placed on probation for 12 months at Dundalk district court last Wednesday
Derek Clelland with an address at the Simon Community, Dundalk admitted committing the offence on May 26th last year, two months after he was given a suspended sentence for a similar offence. He was also before the court for public order offences at Zam Zam Kebab on Jocelyn Street, on November 11th last.
After placing him under the Probation bond, Judge John Coughlan told the defendant 'You're a nuisance. Any problems, and I will put you in Mountjoy.'
