Irish Water warn of possible water supply outage in Ardee

Water main upgrades are taking place throughout the day on Friday

Irish Water warn of possible water supply outage in Ardee

Irish Water advise that there may be water supply disruptions to some areas of Ardee today due to water mains upgrades.

Works in the town are scheduled to be carried out from 9am until 3pm today (Friday, February 9th). Irish Water say customers in the Hale Street, Stickillen and surrounding areas may experience supply disruptions.

Traffic management will be in place to facilitate works.

If you need to contact Irish Water about this supply and service alert, the company ask that you quote the unique alert reference number - LOU018267.

Bad weather often leads to frozen and burst water mains, an issue Ardee has particularly suffered from in recent times, leading to necessary water mains upgrades taking place in the town.

Also today, Irish Water say step-testing works may affect supply to Philipstown and surrounding areas between 10am-3pm.
