Carlingford set for major technology trade fair next week

The village of Carlingford will be even busier than usual next week as a major IT trade fair will take place on Thursday February 8th around the village.

Adam Coburn, General Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel, Spa and Leisure Club Carlingford, said it was an "honour" for the hotel and the village to host the event.

"It is a massive honour for the village of Carlingford and the Four Seasons Hotel to be hosting this event again this year. We would like to thank Frances Taylor from the Carlingford Tourist Office for assisting the hotel in bringing other local tourism providers on board.”

This is its second year running due to the overwhelming success of last year's fair.

There will be many major companies coming to the village, including Vespa and Cisco.

The trade fair will be held in numerous businesses throughout the village, including Carlingford Adventure Centre, The Four Seasons Hotel, Ghan House, The Heritage Centre and other establishments.

Throughout the day several hundred IT businesses will attend.

Last year, among many displays, there was a talking robot and an all electric car from Vespa so anything new on the market is likely to turn up.
