The death has occurred of Michael Rice of Hillview, Upper Jenkinstown, Dundalk
Peacefully, at home in his 99th year, in the dedicated care of his family.
Beloved husband of Teresa and dear father of Michael, Thomas, Mary, Margaret and Pat. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Honor, sons-in-law Ken and Paddy, grandchildren Aoife, Róisín, Eilís, Niamh, Shauna, Gráinne, Michael, Darragh and Anna, sisters Kathleen and Sheila, sisters-in-law Fidelis, Frances, Mary and Briege, brother-in-law Tommy, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at home from 6pm-9pm on Thursday and from 11am-9pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday at 10.20am, to the Church of Our Lady of the Wayside, Jenkinstown, arriving for Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Lordship Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Maria Goretti Foundation, Lordship c/o Quinn's Funeral Homes

The death has occurred of Margaret Madge Thornton (née Carry) of Slieve, Hackballscross, Dundalk
Peacefully in the care of the staff at Dealgan House Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Packie and cherished mother of John and Mel.
Madge will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughter-in-law Pauline, grandchildren Bernadette, Martin, Anthony, Seán and Carol, 6 great grandchildren, brother Al, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved her.
Reposing at Dealgan House Nursing Home on Friday afternoon from 3pm, followed by removal at 6pm to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Bríd A Crinn, Dundalk arriving for evening reception prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
