Man to appear in Central Criminal Court on Irene White murder charges

Anthony Lambe will appear at the Central Criminal Court on Monday

The man accused of the murder of Irene White, Anthony Lambe, will stand trial in the Central Criminal Court on Monday, January 29.

35-year-old student Lambe, who has an address in Annadrumman, Castleblaney, Co Monaghan, stands accused of the murder of Irene White on April 6, 2005. 

Ms White's body was found at her home in Ice House, Demesne Road, Dundalk. 

Anthony Lambe was arrested on January 20, 2017. He appeared at Dundalk District Court and was charged with White's murder. 

Judge McLoughlin remanded Lambe in custody to Cloverhill District Court, recommended protective custody and granted legal aid to the accused. He was released on bail last March.
