Ross Hanlon has been missing since Friday

The family of Dundalk IT student Ross Hanlon has travelled to Austria in a desperate bid to help find their son. 

The 21-year-old was last seen outside Flex nightclub in the Augartenbrucke district of Vienna, early on Friday morning. 

Ross, who is a business student in DkIT,  travelled  to Vienna for a holiday with two friends.

Reports in The Irish Independent reveal that his parents have met with the Irish Ambassador to Austria and have been putting up posters around Vienna in a bid to find their son. 

Ross Hanlon's family also issued a fresh appeal for information on his whereabouts on Sunday. 

A Go Fund Me Page has also been set up to aid in the search. So far €10,455 of the €2,000 goal has been raised.

Ross is described as being 5ft 9in in height and is of medium build. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
