It's almost CHRISTMAS! The big day is in sight and the smug early shoppers probably have all their wrapping done by now, but, if you are a bit of a last minute Lucy and plan to spend your Christmas Eve shopping then I'm here to help, sort of.
It's the same every year, I'll start early, this time I'll be organised, everything will be bought and wrapped a week before Christmas Day, but once again you are panic buying on Christmas Eve. Here are some helpful tips and tricks for all you last-minute shoppers.
If you are on the hunt for a gift for a lady then always remember you can NEVER go wrong with a candle. As women we are born with a weird, bordering on pyromaniac, obsession with candles. My top picks are the classic Yankee candle or the aromatherapy candle Neom.
When buying sets, please, for the love of all that is good and holy, stay away from anything that has the words 'anti-aging'. Instead opt for the words, plumping, moisturising and cleansing.
If you don't know the recipient's size, do NOT guess. Ask someone, or just forget it! It's not worth the trip to A&E on Christmas Day.

For the gentlemen, I have one rule, avoid Lynx sets. Nivea sets, I personally don't have a problem with, but maybe reach for brands such as Fat Face or FCUK. It gives the impression you put in that little bit more thought than the stereotypical, and dreaded, Lynx set.
Socks and boxers are a no go, apparently.
Next item for the men in your life, Fifa. That's it. Enough said. Buy Fifa. If they aren't into football, Crash Bandicoot is back and is something the whole family can play.
If they are a gamer, a good set of headphones, with a microphone is a thoughtful and not an overly expensive or hard to find
And remember, when in doubt, buy a voucher!
Unfortunately, at times Christmas and the gift giving process can cause an awful lot of anxiety and stress. Buyers stress over the amount they have spent or bought for their loved ones and in our current materialistic society brand names at times take precedence over the likes of Penneys.
I know, who in their right mind doesn't love a bit of Penneys!
