Looking for something festive to do this weekend? We've trawled through local listings to find the coolest events happening around the town. 

Friday 15th December 

Head to the Neptune in Blackrock tonight from 6 to 9pm for some delicious woodfired Sourdough vegan pizza by Dark Horse Pizza. The best part? The pizza is served from a converted horsebox. There'll also be tunes from the King & I from 10pm. See you there! 

Friday 15th December 

Up for a laugh tonight? Head along to The Spirit Store to see the JuiceBox Comedy Xmas show from 8pm. Local lads TPM, of The Boys on the Dole fame, are headlining. The show will also feature Irish Comedian of the Year runner-up Danny Ryan, Andrew Gilmore, Danny O'Hanlon, Katherine O'Hanlon, Carl Flanagan, Brian O Toole + surprise acts. Tickets are priced at €10. Saturday 16th December 

Pop into Louth County Library tomorrow morning at 11am to see local polish school, Polska Szkoła w Dundalk, perform their annual Christmas play. The group will also serve traditional Polish fare.

Saturday 16th December

Head along to An Táin Arts Centre tomorrow night at 8pm to see Ardú and Friends perform their Christmas concert series. All proceeds are in aid of Pieta House. The show features The Redemptorist Choir, (Directed by Trevor Clarke), and Dundalk soprano Sarah McCourt. Ardú Vocal Ensemble is a versatile group made up of six professional singers from various backgrounds - traditional, opera, choral and contemporary. Tickets are priced at  €12 - €15 

Sunday 17th December 

Planning to do 'the big shop' this Sunday? Why not kill two birds with one stone and do it in Tesco Extra whilst Dundalk Brass Band perform Christmas Carols? The event starts at 3pm in Tesco on the Dublin road and promises to be fun for children and adults alike.
