Dundalk school Réalt na Mara held its annual food appeal for the last two weeks. Each pupil in the school was asked to bring in one or two non perishable items.

There was a fantastic response from the parents and students to the food appeal. The student council coordinated the collection in school with the guidance of teachers Síle Holland and Cillian Quigley.

The food hampers will be distributed by Sr Anne Hamill, The Lions Club and St Patrick’s Soup Kitchen to help the needy people of Dundalk.
