OVER €4,000 has been raised to date towards the refurbishment of St Fursey's Church, Haggardstown and St Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock.

Some of the funds have been raised from the latest Haggardstown/Blackrock Parish History publication. Here's a sample from some of the photos featured in the book.

The last remaining copies of 'A Journey Through Time – From Land To Sea – In The Parish of Haggardstown & Blackrock' are now on sale for the reduced price of €10 in Centra, Blackrock; Pat Flanagan Mace, Dublin Road, Haggardstown, and 'Roe River Books' at 77 Park street, Dundalk.

The 176 page book, which was written by Noel Sharkey and commissioned by Fr Pádraig Keenan PP, can also be obtained in the sacristies of both parish churches.
