Tesco Mobile customers in Dundalk reporting coverage issues today
** Tesco Mobile Statement – 10.35pm Update **
According to Tesco Mobile, the network has now been restored and the majority of customers are reconnected.
"A small number of customers may still experience some intermittent issues in the coming hours as the network restores to full capacity. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank customers for their continued patience."
Earlier in the day (Tuesday) third party damage to the fibre optic network for Three Ireland, who supply network services to Tesco Mobile and other operators, has led to disruption of voice calls and SMS services for some customers.
Dundalk customers of Tesco Mobile are reporting issues with coverage today.
The supermarket giant took to it's Twitter account this afternoon to update customers on the current situation.
"Hi everyone, we're currently tracking a technical issue with the network which is affecting some of our customers. We're working to have this issue sorted asap. We thank you for your patience during this time. Will keep you posted with an update."
@tescomobileire Any updates on when coverage will resume in Dundalk? 02/3 coverage all working, so issue on Tesco side alone.— Ray (@rkkx) November 28, 2017
