Market Street in Dundalk remains cordoned off after serious assault

Gardai have cordoned off Market Street and parts of Clanbrassil Street today following what has been described as a serious assault in the area late last night.

The Credit Union on Market Street will remain closed for the day as gardai continue their investigations into the incident.

Anybody with any information is asked to contact gardai at Dundalk Garda station.
