Showcase opportunity for bands in Dundalk St Patrick's Day Parade
By Democrat reporter

A fantastic opportunity is being given for four bands to showcase their talent in front of the thousands of spectators at this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade in Dundalk.

The bands will perform along the parade route and entertain the audiences along Dundalk’s main streets as they go.

St Patrick’s Day Parade Chairperson, David Minto explained “Our parade in Dundalk gets more impressive with each year. Of course we have the marching bands element but we want to have more live music throughout the parade to keep people of all ages entertained.

“So, sticking with our TEAMDundalk theme we want to hear from bands who would like to showcase their work to our spectators. Hopefully in doing so they will benefit from future party bookings.”

Those interested in being one of the lucky four bands should contact with information on your band.

This year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade is once again organised by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and sponsored to date include Fyffes, Louth County Council, Longwalk Shopping Centre and Dundalk BIDS.

The Dundalk St Patricks Day Parade takes place on Friday, March 17th at 1pm. For Parade entry details contact Kim or Chloe in Dundalk Chamber of Commerce at 042 9336343 or
