Dundalk Gardai investigating car break in at hotel

The incident occurred at the Carrickdale Hotel

American tourists have their rented car raided in Dundalk

€10,000 worth of property was stolen from a parked car at the Carrickdale Hotel at Carrickarnon last Friday.

The vehicle, which was parked outside the hotel at the time of the incident, was a rental and had been hired by tourists from America.

The theft occured between 1pm and 2.30pm. Upon returning to their vehicle, the occupant reported that the rear window had been smashed and electronic goods to the value of €10000 had been stolen.


A resident of Lios Dubh, Armagh Road, Dundalk had the front window of her home smashed last Saturday evening (February 4th). The incident occurred at approximately 7.45pm.
