Gardai are reporting a serious collision at Hunterstown outside Ardee this afternoon, with the road closed in both directions.
*The road has since been re-opened*
Just last month there was tragedy along the same stretch of road when two women died when they were hit by a passing car.
Emergency services are at the scene and diversions are in place.
Ardee. Serious RTC on the N2 just south of Ardee, Co Louth. Road currently closed and diversions are in place.
