UPDATE: Man charged in murder of Dundalk taxi driver Martin Mulligan

Gardaí have charged a man, 22 years, in connection with the murder of Martin Mulligan. He appeared before Drogheda District Court this yesterday evening (Thursday 10th November 2016).

The man, named in court as Joseph Hillen of Glendesha Road, Forkhill, Co Armagh was arrested yesterday morning in the Dublin area and detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He remains in Garda custody.

The body of Martin Mulligan was discovered in Kilcurry, Dundalk, County Louth on the morning of Monday 28th September 2015. Martin’s car, a silver coloured Skoda Octavia, was also located at scene.
