The new signs around Dundalk depicting the town in the Victorian era have been widely praised.
They form a magnificent Victorian walk route, starting at Stapleton Place, then moving on to The Crescent, Anne Street, The China Bridge in the old Demesne, Park Street, Earl Street, Francis Street, The Square, The Courthouse, Douglas Place, (that's round by The Democrat) Roden Place, Clanbrassil Street, Church Street, and the Quays. It even shows a cardinal's car rolling off a boat at the Quay.
It's brilliant and a walking tour worth taking.
