Student council at St Louis set to prove worth
Democrat Reporter editor@dundalkdemocrat.ie @DundalkDemocrat

St Louis Student Council are proving themselves to be an enthusiastic and committed group of girls.

Ably led by Head Girl Chloe Twibill and Deputy Head Girl Gillian Browne, they hope to channel their energies into a wide range of tasks.

They intend to make this a memorable year, with Chloe adding that she is “really looking forward to this wonderful opportunity to represent the school”.

As there has always been a very strong tradition of fundraising, the council hope to continue this legacy, involving themselves in the local community. Their main aim however will be focused on mental health awareness and to this end, they plan to reinforce positivity among the student body with guest speakers and a variety of fun activities.

Their motto for the year is “leading the way” and that is exactly what they hope to do, showcasing and honing their leadership skills while being the voice of their peers.

These girls acknowledge that they are in a privileged position and they want to champion the St. Louis ethos to the absolute best of their ability.

We wish them well in their endeavours.
