Musicians from Ceoltoiri Dhun Dealgan were delighted to get the invitation to play in Croke Park on All Ireland Final day on Sunday last.
The group arrived for sound check at 10am on Sunday morning and played at half time in the minor match and were very fortunate that the weather was dry at that stage.
According to group member Padraig Donlan it was intriguing to see all the activity and preparation in the various areas of the stadium from early on.
They also met with some former football stars attending the match and bumped into RTE stars Marty Morrisey and Daithí Ó Sé in the green room while waiting to go onto the field and had "a bit of craic" said Padraig.
