Back to school might be approaching fast but there’s no need to get bogged down in books alone! The fun of summer continues well into the year at the Dolmen Centre in Omeath.
A full programme of classes and events will begin in September. We are delighted to confirm that Pilates, Tots Ballet, Street Dance for kids and Drama classes will be available in the centre by the middle of September. All details will be posted on the Omeath District Development Facebook page very soon, and a timetable of classes will be sent home with all local school children at the beginning of the school year.
The regular classes and clubs here at The Dolmen Centre will of course return as usual from September on.
These include Omeath Boxing Club, Bumbs ‘n’Babies, Omeath Youth Club, bi-weekly meetings of the local Active Retirement Group, Art classes for adults, Weekly AA meetings, Clarke School of Irish Dance & Omeath Drama Group along with some new initiatives like Omeath Women’s Group and Feroige Club. The Dolmen Centre also welcome any support or statutory agency who wish to deliver outreach or support services to the residents of the Cooley Penninsula.
Please contact Bronagh on 0873171069 if you would like to have a chat about any of the classes, clubs & events in the Dolmen Centre, or if you represent a group or outreach programme that could avail of our facilities. Keep updated with the Omeath District Development Facebook page and local bulletins & newspapers.
