Setanta Choir will hold a concert at the Crowne Plaza Dundalk Friday May 13 at 8 pm. Special guest will be tenor Eugene Ginty.
Tickets for the event are selling fast, with a venue limit of 300 in place.
Eugene Ginty is a classically trained operatic tenor of international repute and also member of The Three Tenors and the National Chamber Choir.
Concert goers will be greeted with a welcoming glass of wine before the choir opens with a selection of the most popular opera choruses ever written.
After the supper interval, the choir will resume with a selection of popular songs from its wide repertoire, culminating in a finale calculated to send everyone home with a spring in their step and a medley of tunes in their heads.
The venue format for the evening will allow for groups of friends to sit at tables and enjoy the occasion together and bar service will also be available.
The concert is a fundraiser to help prepare for a worthy celebration of Setanta’s 40th anniversary next year. Tickets are €25 and are available from any member of the choir, from The Crowne Plaza reception and online at www.setantachoir.ie/ticket-sale/. Remember numbers are limited.
