Dundalk Musical Society set to stage 'Showtime'

Dundalk Musical Society will take to the stage on Friday 8th of April 2016 with their latest presentation "Showtime". This Cabaret style concert will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 8pm.

This format has been a very successful venture for the society and has been a sell out event for the last number of years. PRO of the Society Paudie Breen said "This style of concert has been a real hit with the public as they can enjoy a wonderful evening of musical theatre in a very relaxed atmosphere, and many people decide to make a night of it by having a meal beforehand or perhaps a little tipple afterwards".

Showtime will feature a diverse range of treats from the world of musicals and will take patrons on a journey from the golden age of musicals with shows like West Side Story, Calamity Jane, Cabaret, and right up to the present day with west-end smash hits such as Miss Saigon, Jekyll and Hyde, it will also be an opportunity to hear the wonderful music from Sister Act, which wowed audiences with six sell out shows last October..

Tickets are priced at 15 euro and are on sale now from News and Deli, Park St., the reception of the Crowne Plaza or any cast member.

For group bookings or those who require special assistance contact Paudie Breen on (085) 7306179. Seats are not allocated so patrons are advised to get there early on the night and are guaranteed a wonderful evenings entertainment.
