Omeath Dolmen Centre is a veritable hive of activity

A HIVE of community activity the Dolmen Centre in Omeath caters for a wide variety of clubs, classes and activites as well as housing the Dolmen Business Centre which acts as a virtual office for clients and according to spokesperson for the centre Bronac Mackin there is room for even more variety,

“The centre here is available for all community endeavours across the peninsula. We run all sorts of classes and community events. For example at the minute we have everything from active retirement to Zumba going on! We do boxing, Irish dancing, art, hip hop for kids and lots more coming up’.

“We also run the Dolmen Business Centre upstairs which acts as a virtual office for clients, allowing them to avail of the skills of a pay roll administrator and secretary without having to employ one themselves. So if anyone on the Peninsula has a marketable skill and would like to hold a class here, we have all the facilities for them”.

Amongst the services offered to the Community are rental of Astro Turf Pitch for training, Hall rental for functions including childrens’ parties, general meetings and other functions as well as rental of function equipment – tables, chairs, boilers, cutlery etc. Other facilities include Photocopying, office services and event management.

A variety of business services are also on offer including Payroll, administration, virtual secretary, photocopying and office services, event management.
