Local photographer Brittany McEntagart will be hosting a table-quiz night in The Bodhrán Pub, Bridge Street, with all proceeds going to SOSAD.
The night runs in conjunction with Brittany's new project, based on suicide awareness, “letting the people tell their story”.
The subject of suicide is tragically very personal tor Brittany,
“I sadly lost my father to suicide, this sparked the idea to raise awareness through the project. I have put my work on exhibition and received great feedback”.
There will also be a raffle on the night, prizes up for grabs have been kindly provided by Brodigan's Londis Cakery, Quay Street, Midas Jewellers, McGuill Travel, as well as beauty products, provided by various Dundalk Pharmacists. Some of Brittany's will be auctioned off on the night.
“There'll be music, food, baked goods, bracelets and spot prizes on the night. I would urge people to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Its €20 for a table of four, I hope to see you all there”.
Doors open at 8pm, The Bodhrán, Bridge Street, Dundalk. Britanny's project can be funded and viewed on www.godundme.com/beautifullybrokenx.
This is such a worthy cause to be fundraising for, therefore, this is a night not to be missed.
