The Vinegar Man in Dundalk set for expansion

Plans are underway for expansion at well known Park Street pub, The Vinegar Man, with a planning application lodged with the local planning authority.

The Vinegarmans Ltd has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for alterations, extension and change-of-use of a disused retail unit at 99 Park Street to public house including a lounge, courtyard, toilets and elevational alterations.

The planning application also provides for a kitchen, staff room, stores and covered courtyard to 100 Park Street and first floor store room, new fixed and retractable roofs and all associated works.

A decision is due on the planning application by 17 September, with submissions due by 27 August 2024.
