Value Centre Dundalk honoured with two major awards

Value Centre Dundalk was celebrated at the recent 2024 ShelfLife Grocery Management Awards, which recognises both individual management excellence in the sector and outstanding teamwork.

Fintan Smyth, who has been manager of Value Centre Dundalk since 2004, was named Cash and Carry Manager of the Year for the third time, his first award coming in 2007, while the whole Value Centre Dundalk team was named Retail Team of the Year at the prestigious ceremony, which was held at Dublin’s Royal Marine Hotel.

One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Irish retail and wholesale calendar, the National Grocery Management Awards is Ireland’s premier scheme for recognising and honouring management excellence.

To win a Shelflife Management award is a high point in the career of many of Ireland’s best performing managers from across a variety of categories and at various levels of career progression and the event is also the principal networking event for managers from across the industry to gather with colleagues, business partners, suppliers and friends.
