The last Medal event before Captain Barry’s prize was played in tough conditions. The course played long and soft, but the scoring overall was excellent.

Winning his first medal and probably not his last was Sean O’Rourke. He has been playing some solid golf of late and produced a few brilliant shots on Sunday morning to score a nett 66.

Finishing in second position was Niall Duffy. Niall shot a great score of nett 68, beating Derek Donnelly on the count back, who also played very well, shooting a score of nett 68. Mark Lambe won gross prize with a score of 74.
