The Annual Student Enterprise Fair 2023 was held in the Marshes Shopping Centre recently. Organised by the Events Management Team comprising transition year students at Dundalk Grammar School, the event attracted student enterprises from Dundalk Grammar, Dun Lughaidh and Bush.
The transition year enterprises that participated were:Simply Crochetted, The Frenchies, Mind Over Journals, Cards and Coffee and Simply Accessorised from Dun Lughaidh; Social Enterprise Cystic Fibrosis, Green Schools, The Scent, The Library and Environmental Expert-ees from Dundalk Grammar; and Quickscent from The Bush. Two first year enterprises also participated: Strawsome and The Flower Studio from Dundalk Grammar.
In addition, The Snack Shack from Dundalk Grammar ran a café for the duration of the event, which was well patronised through the day. In all 14 enterprises participated, which generated a creative buzz in the Marshes.The Fair concluded with an Awards Ceremony, and the following category awards were presented:
Best Stall Presentation: The Scent
Most Innovative Product: Quickscent
Best Marketing: The Flower Studio
Best Social Enterprise: Cystic Fibrosis
