Micky O'Kane with a sweet daisy cutter from outside the box gave the visitors the lead after 18 minutes. On the half hour mark he doubled their advantage with his 5th strike this season.

A fine header from Danny Donnelly minutes later put the Blues 3-0 ahead and it was only thanks to some excellent goalkeeping by the Rocks custodian that they did not trail by more at the break.

A string of outstanding saves from keeper James Harrington kept the score at 3-0 until the 82nd minute, when Micheal Stokes fired home from close range. This victory, their 5th in six games, leaves Muirhevnamor just one point behind leaders Bay United at the top of the league table.

St Dominics 1 Shamrocks FC 3

This was probably the best game of the season so far. Played at breakneck speed throughout, the huge crowd were treated to a wonderful match that swung from end to end for every one of the 94 minutes played.

Greg Shannon put the Saints ahead after just four minutes with his 10th strike this season.

Midway through the half Doms were reduced to 10 men. After hitting the upright the Friary side had keeper Cillian Rice to thank for keeping them in the game with two outstanding saves before the break.

Right at the start of the second half, Shamrocks had a player sent off too. On 65 minutes Ray McCann from the penalty spot levelled the match.

Shortly after David Ward from an acute angle put last year's champions ahead. With time running out Gavin Gaffy sealed the win with his 4th goal this term, to keep the Fatima side unbeaten so far.
