Local nurses were honoured as International Nurses Day 2023 was celebrated once again in Louth hospitals.
Events to mark the occasion were held in Louth County Hospital, Dundalk and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
International Nurses Day is celebrated annually around the world on the birthday of Florence Nightingale to mark the contributions nurses make to society. This year the theme was ‘Our Nurses; Our Future”.
Our photographer Arthur Kinahan was in Louth County Hospital to capture the special day.
