Hundreds of people put on their hiking boots to take part in the annual Cross Cooley Challenge.
More than 400 people did the sponsored walk across the mountains from Ballymakellet to Carlingford to fundraise for two local charities, the North Louth Hospice and the Marie Goretti Foundation.
And our photographer Arthur Kinahan was there as they headed off on their fundraising hike.
