Little Notes for Little Dotes, Wednesday 24th May at 12:30pm and Wednesday 21st June at 10:30am
A wonderful way to introduce your little music lovers to classical music, Little Notes for Little Dotes, a magical musical experience for our 0 - three year olds.
Performed by Glas Quartet, a vibrant and exciting Irish collective of Louth-based professional musicians.
The Grannies, Saturday 27th May at 2:30pm & 4pm, Market Square
The Grannies is a free, interactive, outdoor performance that speaks to people of all ages.
The two older ladies flirt, they provoke, they are shameless – but always end up putting a smile on people’s faces.
Older women are represented in a bold, wild way enjoying the advantages of being old.
This performance is part of the Bealtaine Festival.
Paper World, Saturday 9th June at 7pm, An Táin Arts Centre
Come and experience the pure joy that is Paper World. This fast paced, physical, slapstick comedy, performed by the Ukrainian clown troupe Mimirichi, is like nothing you will have seen before.
Watch the clowns tear the house down (literally!) and get caught up in the biggest paper fight of your life.
Cruinniú na nÓg | Saturday 10th June, An Táin Arts Centre
To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg, a free national day of creativity for children and young people, we are hosting free workshops in podcasting, film-making, customising clothes and music workshops.
The workshops are free but booking is required.

A two-week unique musical theatre summer camp that offers classes in dance, singing, drama, stage craft and arts and crafts.
Run by From the Top Theatre School and An Táin Arts Centre.
Showman Music Summer Camp, 17th – 21st July 10am – 3pm daily.
This musical summer camp helps each child explore their individual musical expression, compose their own music, and learn show stopper songs from movies and musicals.
Every day, campers will have band jams, individual lessons, creative crafts, drumming, and choir.
With An Táin Arts Centre’s School of Music and Grow Music.
Little Red vs The Big Bad Wolf, 2 nd – 6 th August at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm daily plus 7pm on Saturday 5th August Anaverna House, Ravensdale
An Táin Arts Centre returns to Ravensdale for our annual promenade theatre show in the beautiful grounds of Anaverna House.
Little Red vs The Big Bad Wolf is modern, fresh take on the beloved classic fairy tale, providing interactive storytelling, giggles galore, and a slick visual feast suitable for the whole family.
