The Blackrock/St Brides combined camogie team that secured the U15 County Feile title with a victory over St Kevins
Darver was the location for the Louth U15 camogie blitz last Saturday afternoon.
Na Piarsaigh/Blackrock combined with St Brides to play four tightly contested matches against St Fechins, Mattock Rangers, St Kevin’s and Cooley Kickhams.
The combined 15 emerged from the group stage to face St Kevin’s in the hotly contested final. After a tense match, they eventually pulled ahead and came out as victors to secure the county title. Both sides now go on to represent Louth in the national Feile finals on June 26th.
The Blitz was a huge success, in part due to the great work of the organisers, the coaches and supporters, who put in so much time and dedication into the promotion of camogie in the Wee County.
And of course, not forgetting the most important element, the girls themselves, who all put in fine performances and played so well throughout the event. All while representing their clubs so well.
