The new TownEnd shirt
The TownEnd podcast 2023 shirt launch is a little bit special this year.
Since forming during the 2021 season the podcast always likes to engage with its viewers and listeners for a range of different initiatives.
For the past two years former Lilywhite Donal Greene has kindly sponsored the podcast in conjunction with his Dundalk Village Project.
For the 2023 podcast shirt Dundalk Village will become prominent as front of shirt sponsor and all profits from the sales of the shirt will go directly to the projects charity work in Uganda.
Speaking at the launch of the shirt Donal Greene said: “Dundalk FC fans can make a significant impact in the lives of children living in poverty in rural Uganda through the Dundalk Village project.
"Over 40% of rural Ugandans survive on less than $1.90 per day, making it impossible for many kids to afford education.”
The project, founded by Donal Greene, provides sustainable farming opportunities while also supplying essential resources such as clean water, toilets, and solar panels to the community.
Fans can directly fund tuition fees for kids in the Dundalk Village community by purchasing The Town End Podcast shirts.
Education can break the cycle of poverty and offer a brighter future for these children.
Join the cause and help change lives today.
Chris Clarke of the TownEnd Podcast said:
“It’s so good to be able to make a difference in the world and especially with projects like this.
“Since Donal came on board last year as our main sponsor we have wanted to give back to the project in some way and this seemed like a brilliant opportunity.”
Dundalk FC shirt manufacturer Playr-fit have come on board to help design and create this years shirt.
Chris continued:
“Playr-fit and in particular Karl O’Connor have been great helping this creation come to fruition, we are so proud of it and we hope the fans of Dundalk FC will be able to get behind this initiative and make a positive impact somewhere in the world.
“We would also like to thank Vinny from Tony’s Pizzeria for their continued support of the podcast and feature on the sleeves of this year's shirt.”
The shirt is available for a limited time from the playr-for website at
https://playr-fit.com/the-town-end/ and is priced €29.
