During this notable convention, DkIT says, "Katie performed with excellence, proudly representing all her fellow student nurses of Ireland as she spoke so proficiently alongside the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, Karen Greene on the topic of how the Department of Health currently support Irish Student Nurses and Midwives".

Katie attended the WHO European Regional meeting in Bucharest alongside the Chief Nursing Officer, Rachel Kenna, and Deputy Chief Nursing Officer, Karen Greene, and other members of the Irish CNO’s office.

Katie Shanley, Year 4 student said, “It was such a fantastic opportunity.
