An Táin Arts Centre said they are delighted to present an open-air theatrical adaptation of the book Bad Dad by bestselling children’s author David Walliams.
The fun event, which will be the perfect way to entertain your family in the outdoors this summer, will take place in St Helena's Park in town on Saturday May 13th at 6pm.
This warm-hearted tale follows the highs and lows of a father-son relationship.
So, pack your picnics, grab your wet weather gear or sun-cream (or both), something to sit on, and join Frank and Gilbert as they navigate their way through car chases and convicts in the struggle to escape the clutches of the local crime lord and clear Gilbert’s name.
Director of An Táin Arts Centre Paul Hayes said: “As part of our ongoing commitment to producing work off-site, we’re delighted to bring Heartbreak Productions to a large scale outdoor audience in the wonderful surroundings of St Helena’s Park.
“This show is theatre of the highest quality and is based on the book by bestselling children’s author David Walliams.
“It is sure to be a day memories are made.”
This is an outdoor event in St Helena’s Park. Please bring your own picnic blanket or deck chair, as seating is not provided and don’t forget to dress comfortably for the Irish weather.
