Ardee & District Cancer Support, represented by Rose McCusker, will be this year's Grand Marshall
Ardee St Patrick's Day Parade Committee says it is thrilled to announce that Ardee & District Cancer Support, represented by Rose McCusker, will be its Grand Marshal for the 2023 St Patrick's Day Parade in Ardee.
The committee says its Grand Marshal is chosen as something or someone that represents the best of the Ardee community and it says it is thrilled that Ardee & District Cancer Support Group have accepted its offer to lead the parade this year.
Set up in 2018, Ardee & District Cancer Support Group is available to support people in the local and surrounding areas who have cancer and other illnesses.
Rose McCusker is heavily involved with the group and anyone who has worked with them or availed of their services will know the hard work that she puts in, along with many other members.
Ardee St Patrick's Day Parade is taking place on 17 March at 3pm. There will be live entertainment on the bandstand from 2pm featuring Irish trad group Scoraíocht Lann Léire and Sean Jones, as well as music and chats from MC Sean Jennings.
The parade is also being live streamed on the day by Joe Finnegan and will be available to watch via his you tube channel YouTube.com/joefinnegan
