The Birches family support group is back to in person meetings having been virtual under Covid rules.
The group meets on the last Thursday of every month with the next meeting taking place this Thursday 23rd February at 7pm at the Birches Centre Priorland, Dublin Road, Dundalk.
The aim of the group is to provide a support network where people have an understanding of the difficulties of the family carer.
Carers are free to attend on a once off basis, as needs arise, or on a regular basis.
The support group provides an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation, to share stories and experiences, and access information and practical advice in a relaxed, understanding and supportive environment.
