The season may have not gotten underway yet, but already the FAI has announced some changes to the fixture list.

19 matches across the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, First Division and Women's League have been altered, with most cases being a change in kickoff to an earlier time.

However one major difference for Lilywhites fans is their clash with Drogheda United. The first Louth Derby of the league season had been fixed for St Patrick's Day, Friday March 17th. This has now been changed to a day earlier with the same kickoff time of 7:45PM.

Meanwhile two other away clashes have also been altered, with earlier kick off times confirmed.

On April 10th, the club makes the trip to Turners Cross to face the newly promoted Cork City, while on May 1st they head to the capital to face UCD at the Belfield Bowl.

Given both ties are fixed for bank holiday Monday's, their kickoff times have now been brought back. They had been due to get underway at 7:45PM but will now take place at 5:30PM. A change which is sure to be a help for travelling fans.

Of the 19 changes made to fixtures, only two were moved to another date. All the rest were alterations to the kickoff times, which should boost their attraction on bank holiday Monday's.
