Gardai from Dundalk’s Road Policing Unit say they were conducting a checkpoint in the town recently.
They say a taxi driver was stopped and found to be over the legal limit while transporting passengers in the vehicle.
He was subsequently arrested and a court appearance is to follow.
The driver of this Taxi was arrested by Gardaí from the Dundalk Roads Policing Unit recently when he was stopped at a checkpoint & found to be over the legal limit, while transporting passengers were in the vehicle.
