Garret Mallon Jewellery from Louth was announced as the winner of the Best Jewellery Product at the annual Showcase Awards, which were announced at Showcase - Ireland’s International Creative Expo, on Sunday at the RDS.

The annual event returned to the RDS for three days over Sunday to Tuesday, 22 - 24 January. One of the country’s largest international trade fairs, Showcase 2023 welcomed over 380 exhibitors and more than 4,000 buyers from Ireland and overseas. Upwards of €20 million in business was expected to be transacted across the three-day event.

Exhibitors selected for the Showcase Best Product Awards 2023 were chosen by a panel of industry experts from exhibitors spanning Home & Gift, Fashion, Jewellery, and Wellness. The judges nominated the ‘Best Product’ in each of their categories and the overall Best Product Award at Showcase 2023 was chosen by the Showcase judging panel.

The Showcase Best Product Award in the jewellery category went to Garrett Mallon Jewellery, which is based in Louth, for its Clan Collection.

The winner of the overall Best Product Award was Tom King of An Gobha Iron Works and Experience, for his Iron St. Brigid’s Cross. An Gobha offers immersive and interactive experiences of traditional iron age metal forging delivered with theatre, stories, myths, and legends in Bohermeen, Co Meath.

Showcase is promoted internationally by Enterprise Ireland through its network of overseas offices. Speaking ahead of the opening event, Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy said:

“Showcase Ireland 2023 offers Irish designers and manufacturers in the Consumer Products sector valuable opportunities to present their unique products.
