Revealed: Driving test centre pass rates in Louth

The driving test centre in Dundalk recorded a pass rate of 56.9% for 2022 according to figures released by the RSA (Road Safety Authority).

The figure compares to a pass rate of 56.1% in 2021; 55.4% in 2020; 56.3% in 2019 and 50.7% in 2018. 

Learners in Dundalk are currently waiting months to receive a test date, with it being reported in November that the test centre in Drogheda had the longest wait time in the county with learners waiting 31 weeks for a test date.

The test centre in Drogheda recorded a pass rate of 49.8% for 2022.

Nationally, Ballincollig in Cork recorded the highest pass rate in the country  (75%) in 2022 while at the other end of the scale the test centre in Mulhuddart in Dublin recorded the lowest pass rate (38%).
