Gardai are investigating the unauthorised taking of a car in the Cathedral View area of the Ramparts in Dundalk at around 7pm last Saturday.
It is believed that two men were seen in the car in the driveway of the house and left in the car which turned right on Rampart Lane towards the Inner Relief Road.
The 162 LH Silver Toyota Avitz was taken without the keys.
Gardai say there have been no arrests at this time and investigations are ongoing.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time or who may have dashcam footage to contact Dundalk garda station on 042 9388400.
