An Post to increase price of stamp
An Post has announced that they are increasing the price of a domestic stamp by 10c at the start of next month.
A stamp, which currently costs €1.25 to purchase, will now be valued at €1.35 in February (8% increase).
The worldwide stamp will remain unchanged at the price of €2.20 while a digital stamp will also stay at the same price of €2.00.
An Post has blamed the rising costs in transport, fuel, energy and operations for their decision.
