Plans underway for new fitness facility in Dundalk

Plans are underway for a new fitness facility in Dundalk, with a planning application submitted to the local planning authority.

Mr Sean Kilroy has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for the change of use from existing retail/industrial warehousing at Unit 2 Butterly Business Park, Coes Road, Dundalk, to a gymnasium/fitness facility.

The planning application also seeks permission for the installation of male and female facility rooms/toilet and showers, reception, coffee and relaxing area utilising existing ground floor, installation of a mezzanine area including a massage therapy room, as well as all other ancillary site works.

A decision is due on the application by 1 March with submissions due by 8 February.
