Gardaí investigate Louth assault after footage circulates on social media

Louth Gardai say they are investigating the circumstances of an assault in Dunleer that was circulating on social media yesterday evening.
Gardaí say they received a report of a man being assaulted at Main Street, Dunleer, Co Louth, sometime between 6:45pm and 7:05pm on Saturday 10th January.
The man, aged in his 20s, did not require medical attention at the time.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
They have appealed to any persons with information regarding the incident to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041 9874200.
